Help

How JobSweep works, and how to reach me. Last changed 21 October 2026.

What JobSweep does

You write what you want once. JobSweep asks eight UK job sites for it: Indeed, LinkedIn, Jooble, Reed, Totaljobs, CV-Library, Jobserve and CWJobs. It shows you each site's own list, exactly as that site gives it, and JobSweep's own list beside them, where each job appears once and only the jobs that hold what you asked count as matches. Each morning it emails you the new ones.

Signing in

There is no password. Write your email address on the sign-in page and press Email me a sign-in link. The email comes from signin@jobsweep.co.uk, and its link works once, for 30 minutes. Your account is made the first time you use a link. You then stay signed in on that browser for 30 days, or until you press Sign out on the Account page.

No email after a few minutes? Look in your junk folder, then ask for a new link. Up to 5 links an hour are made for one address.

Making a search

Press New search. Write the Job title words as you would type them on a job site, and Where. The other settings are yours to pick: Distance, Remote or hybrid, Date posted, Contract or permanent, Lowest pay, and the order of each site's list. Then press Save and show my jobs.

Each site is sent your words and settings the way its own search box sends them. A site whose own search has no such setting is not sent it, and its list says so. Reading the eight sites takes a few minutes. If JobSweep is already reading as many searches as it can, it says so and keeps what you typed: press Save and show my jobs again a few minutes later.

Each site's own list

Each site's own list is one click away, under the site's name: the jobs that site showed for your search, in its own order, 100 to a page. A site that did not answer, or was read only in part, says so. It is never shown as an empty list. The Job sites page says how each site is read and which settings it does not offer.

JobSweep's own list

The eight lists put together, each job once, with a link to every site that showed it. Each job is checked against your search: every Job title word in its title, Must also include, Leave out, the place, contract or permanent, and lowest pay. It is in three parts:

  • First, the matches: the jobs that hold every rule of your search.
  • Then the jobs that fit your words and place but whose advert does not say something you asked, such as contract or permanent. They are never counted as matches and never hidden. Check these yourself.
  • Last, under Your words and place, but left out: the jobs your search leaves out, with the reason under each.

Press Download as a file to keep whichever list you are looking at.

Your searches

My searches is your home page. You can keep up to 5 searches, each with its newest list and its number of matches. Open list shows the search's newest lists. When they are more than 3 hours old, the sites are read again, unless JobSweep is busy just then: you then see the newest lists it has. Change edits the search. Pause daily email stops its email until you press Switch daily email on. Delete asks first, then removes the search with its lists and daily emails.

Saving jobs

Press Save on any job, in JobSweep's own list or in a site's own list. The Saved jobs page keeps them, newest first, as the list showed them. Remove takes one off. Saved jobs stay when you delete the search that found them.

The daily email

Every morning at 7:00 UK time, JobSweep reads each search whose daily email is on and emails you the jobs it has not sent you before, from alerts@jobsweep.co.uk, one email for each search. A job reaches you once, whichever of your searches finds it. If a site could not be read, the email names it. If the day could not be checked at all, the email says so: it never says there are no jobs when it does not know. The Daily email page keeps every email, with whether it was sent.

Stopping the emails

Every daily email ends with three links: Change this search, Stop this alert and Stop all JobSweep emails. The two stop links work without signing in. Each opens a page with its buttons, and nothing changes until you press one. You can switch the emails back on from the same page.

Paying and refunds

How much is it? £4.99 a month plus VAT (£5.99 in the UK), after 7 free days.

Why do you take my card for a free week? So that JobSweep carries on after the 7 days without you doing anything. I email you 2 days before the first payment, and cancelling in the 7 days costs nothing.

How do I cancel? Press Cancel my plan on your Account page. Nothing more is taken, and you keep JobSweep until the end of the days you paid for.

Can I have my money back? Yes, for 14 days after your first payment, by pressing Refund on your Account page. The Refunds page says when else.

How do I change my card? Press Change my card on your Account page. It opens Stripe's own page.

Where are my receipts? On your Account page, under Receipts, and in the emails Onelink sends you.

Your account

On the Account page, press Download everything to keep one zip file of everything JobSweep keeps under your account. To sign in with a different email address, write it under New email address and press Change email address. JobSweep emails a link to the new address, and your address changes only when you open it and press Change my address. Until then you sign in with your current one.

Deleting your account

On the Account page, press Delete my account and everything saved. JobSweep shows what will go, and nothing is removed until you press Delete everything. That removes your searches, lists, saved jobs, daily emails, the record of jobs emailed to you, your sign-in emails, the messages you sent me from this page, and your account. It cannot be undone. If one of your searches is being read just then, nothing is removed and you are asked to try again in a few minutes. The Privacy page says what stays.

Write to me

Your message comes to me, Benjamin Iannotta, and I reply by email to the address you give. You can also write to JobSweep, 4 St Jacobs Close, Stanground, Peterborough PE2 8XN.
